Borresen X3 vs Harbeth 40.2 -- my impressions
@helomech  I appreciate your comments. Car analogies are a slippery slope!  Changing subjects, is your user name a reference to your profession? (If you don't mind me asking)
Do different speaker stands can really make a big sound improvement?
Yes they do. Check to see if Resonant Woods of New Hampshire is back in business (they were without a wood shop last time I checked which was 1 year ago). They are similar and high quality but a bit cheaper than TT.  Proper joinery / quality woo...

@deep_333 Don’t waste your breath with this crowd. Perhaps lead by example. patriotic brits who will only look at British things True, other than my German TT, Japanese cart, Italian phono stage, German integrated, Canadian streamer, Amer...
Borresen X3 vs Harbeth 40.2 -- my impressions
@helomech  Typical sort of response from the Harbeth fanboy club.  The pot calling the kettle black.
Here's to the temperate, the gentle, the moderates in audio
@tomic601 @woofhaven1992  JR is an absolute credit to the industry  Yes he is. I've just finished working with JR at Wallytools to set up a MSL Signature Platinum. I'm going to write a post about the experience but based on what I've learned, ...

@helomech  I have to vehemently disagree with your assessment You could have stopped there but nice rant. Hope you feel vindicated now.
Borresen X3 vs Harbeth 40.2 -- my impressions
Thankfully true artists like Clifford Brown and Miles Davis don't play at 110dB all the time...it would be soooo boring.
It Pegged the Needle on My "BS Meter". Now, I'm A Believer. Ever Happen to You?
My pleasure.
