Another Flashback Friday - Rick Wakeman Final Tour Review
I saw his 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' tour in San Francisco back in the 70's. In the past decade, I saw one of his solo outings, where he told stories and did some piano playing. I love his humor - very funny guy, Rick Wakeman!
Favorite Song Lyrics of All Time. What Say You?
@jpwarren58 - 'Cadillac'? What happened to 'headlight'?
What Meatloaf and Beer Have Taught me about Audiophiles
I like meatloaf just fine, but IPA's? AACK! Both the tastes and the smells of those things offend my senses. But then, the only 'beers' I really like are hand-pulled 'traditional' or 'Best Bitter' cask ales that I get in the UK when I'm there visi...

@mrdecibel - the tolerance I'm speaking of is that I'd need to eat about 5 boxes of cannabis-infused gummies to feel much of anything. Most folks need 20 - 30 mg. I need over 350mg for the same affect, hence my salad oil!
Is it possible to find a good DAC for under $50, 000?
Naaa. I got one for $49,000, and yep, crap. Shoulda popped for the extra grand....

@mrdecibel - I'm 73, and I've found cannabis and music to go together quite splendidly since I was a teenager. Got too much tolerance for gummies to be of any use, so I enjoy infused canola oil on a salad...
The majic of early 1970's rock and it's influence-
Alright - reviving a 20-year old thread! Still a good topic, though...
Favorite rock/pop male voices
Way too many to list, but I'll certainly concur with those who listed my favorite hard rock singer, Chris Cornell.  I might also add Nick Cave and David Bowie...
What artists can you not get enough of?
My favorite musical artist, Kristeen Young, who has a new album, her 12th, coming out this year...
Jethro Tull
@tonykay - Thanks, Tony; I didn't know if this was something recent or a stop at a theater like that in their heyday, 'cause I sure would have liked to have seen that! I did see them a number of times; once at a pop festival in MD in '69 when Mick...
Jethro Tull
@tonykay - when did they play at the Paramount? I've been to many shows there (I live across the Bay in SF) but don't recall that one, but I may have lost interest in them around that time.
Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?
@spin4cards - I love the Beatles but I totally agree about The Long and Winding Road, especially the version wrecked by Phil Spector's insipid orchestration. It would have been fine with me if they'd never released that 'Let It Be' album. They rea...
Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?
Seems like it boils down to any music that exists, somebody is gonna hate and somebody else is gonna love.
