Experiences with Blu-ray players
Gammajo-I scanned the manual and cannot see any reference to (1) downmixing SACD or to (2) DSD/SACD output from the coax jack.
"Undo" biwiring?
No. I am saying that regardless of the wire he uses, it doesn't matter whether he solders it internally or wires it as a jumper externally, it will make no difference at all.If he wants to rewire internally, he is only making more bother for himse...

No. I am saying that regardless of the wire he chooses, it doesn't matter whether he solders it internally or wires it as a jumper externally, it will make no difference at all.
"Undo" biwiring?
My point is that soldering the wire internally and using it as a jumper are entirely equivalent if done competently. So, if you think that soldering the cheaper wire internally will work better than using the same wire as a jumper, it will be due ...
rear surround speakers
They will work, perhaps not optimally.

You have chosen the wrong BDs.
"Undo" biwiring?
Instead of soldering, why not simply use the same wires as jumpers? I do not understand why you think that "expensive jumpers" are the only alternatives to an internal intervention.

01-04-13: GammajoYes, but it reads and plays them, which works for me having as the poster does only a few of them anyway.Duh. Any CD or DVD or BD player will do that but all you are hearing is the CD layer. No SACD.

There is no SACD output via digital coax from any consumer product. Coax conveys the RedBook layer only, afaik.
Passive biamping question
That is passive biamping and any improvements in "quality" are debatable.
Passive biamping question
No. The spectral distribution of power in music signals is heavily weighted towards the bass. As a result, the total output is limited by the bass amp which will still be 100w. There is quite limited increase in power capability. (And 200w would o...
Two-channel is inferior to multi-channel, no?
06-12-12: Audiofreak32Music is not intended for multichannel. Surround sound is for movies.06-11-12: Audiofreak32No, just stating facts...Just because you assert your opinions does not make them facts.

Glad I don't need the tix.
Need to know the best proccessor ...........
Almost any processor will mate well with the amp. The (old) 1570 lacks an EQ function but, if it sounds like the 1572 that I reviewed, it is a nice prepro. From the current crop, I would suggest you look at the Marantz 8801 which I have seen, at d...

An even more complex install.
