What can beat Wilson XVX for less money?
Magico M6 YG Acoustics Sonja XV
What is the most challenging music to play on a stereo?
Definitely vocals - trying to make Tiny Tim's voice sound better is definitely a step in the right direction
One of the great things about Vinyl
Is I find myself listening to recordings all the way through. Rarely do that with CD's and/or streaming. Simple, it's not easy to defy the Law. One can easily change digital content via smart phone, pc, tablet, remote. But to change vinyl, o...
What can beat Wilson XVX for less money?
What can beat Wilson XVX for less money? - seems like a leading question that “assumes” we all generally agree on the sonic quality of the Wilson XVX while ignoring the more important fact that speaker preferences are usually “subjective”.  ...
Do You Clean Your Ears?
Is it immune to micro vibrations, caused by the laughter of the audience?
Sold a component and bought it back, am I nuts?
Sold a component and bought it back, am I nuts?   It could be “Love”.  Sometime one gets bore or strained in a relationship and thinks that they can do better.  After some time of separation for the heart to realize the loss then the growing ye...

Thanks to Paul McGowan
My wife often gives me dirty looks, although I’m often clueless, I doubt it’s racist :) @fertguy congratulations on your new component
Are audiophile products designed to initially impress then fatigue to make you upgrade?
planned obsolesce You are mistaken.  It's not planned obsolescence (top down thinking), rather it's cost/benefit - how much time and resources does one have to invest and what are the future expected cash flows.  Companies must operate at at le...
Casual listening
I have 2 systems.  SS for accuracy and critical listening to individual instruments/voices and dynamic power/speed, tubes for that midrange magic and for relaxing.
OMG Moment
Perhaps the OPs torso and/or neck is longer than average and not included within Wilson's engineered dispersion pattern :)
Dark Horse DAC
I honestly don’t understand this negativity.  Here the OP is trying to share his 2k DAC find as maybe a great deal at that price point, but some comments seem to only discourage such sharing: - it’s doesn’t compare to more expensive Lampi DACs -...
