| Emotiva equipmet, how good is it? I had a pair of XPA 1L trying to power my Maggie 1.7 speakers after about 7 returns to the factory for service I switched to a Parasound integrated it was a dramatic improvement in quality, and musicality and never a problem. | |

| Best Amp for Magnepan 1.7? I used a Parasound Integrated with my 1.7i with a sub and the sound was phenomenal. The Parasound can be found used in the $1500 range and has everything and plenty of current for those Maggie's. | |
| Trying Magnepans, need advice I used 1.7i with a sub in a room 11-5 x 15 and the sound was totally amazing. Most listeners seemed to prefer the sound without resistors. The room had plenty of lp storage , curtains and carpeting which tamed the high end. |
