The original first Hydra with Elrod statement
Dave, the EPS-2S is designed for lower current devices (cdp, preamp, etc), whereas the EPS-3S is designed for higher current applications (amps, power conditioners, etc).John
Does the"quality" of jumpers affect the sound?
Dpac996 and Bob P., thanks for setting me straight. If it is AC then polarity should not be an issue, as the current is alternating 120 times per second. How come there is so much made of absolute polarity then? It doesn't seem to make sense.Regar...
The original first Hydra with Elrod statement
04-26-07: Rademakerthx so far guys, but till now nobody had answered when using original hydra with elrod statement ?I doubt will get an answer, as this is an intriguing, but very unlikely combination, mostly due to the Hydra's NEMA connector. I h...
Does the"quality" of jumpers affect the sound?
04-26-07: inpepinnovations@aol.comNotwithstanding the statements about jumpers making a difference and connecting at either the high or low side, cross wiring + to hi and - to low, cannot make any difference since the current is AC and effectively...
Does the"quality" of jumpers affect the sound?

04-22-07: ThedautchMoral victory: for the first time in eight years, I actually started a thread that people thought was worth responding to. I'm one of those guys who thinks only *other* people's threads will turn out to be popular. :-)Congrats B...
MultiChannel too complicated for most...
Do 2channel only audiophiles shun multichannel (discrete or DSP based) because they find it too complicated? If the concept of thinking in 360 degrees (Multichannel) were simplified, for a lack of better terms, would multichannel be more accepted?...
Does the"quality" of jumpers affect the sound?
Would a "better" jumper cable equate to better sound? Greh Possibly. It depends on the resolving powers of your equipment, and how carefully you listen. This question is very similar to the power cord question. If the electric company runs power i...
The original first Hydra with Elrod statement
The Elrod Statement is a great power cord, and the original Hydra is a great power conditioner. Is the Elrod Statement the best choice? Only you can answer that question. 'The Best' is very subjective.Do you own this combination, or are you lookin...
