| Do I want a preamp? I would reiterate everything Kana813 stated but also add amplifier gain as a factor. If your amp has less than 30db gain you should keep your preamp. FWIW, I currently run my DAC direct into my power amp and it sounds wonderful. | |

| Risk in airshipping of speakers - experiences? Why not ask a distributor in Europe who ships his speakers from the US. Ask them how they ship and if they encounter problems. I think air freight would be better than putting it on a container ship, but a distributor would know better. | |
