If A.I. took the place of musicians, would you listen to it? hilde45, I am a well-known "eco-fascist", as someone called me once. Let's enjoy music in all its variety and forms. Without AI and brain implants.
If A.I. took the place of musicians, would you listen to it? We will have other problems after WW III in a situation of deteriorating climate, no one will even think about AI then. But we will need robots, no doubt of that.
If A.I. took the place of musicians, would you listen to it? Sounds of nature can definitely be called music. As for the who the composer is, there is no composer, the music created itself. In other words, there was no creation - it always existed. Human composers don't really create anything either, they ...
If A.I. took the place of musicians, would you listen to it? I can see that people here are talking about very different levels of AI advancement. Who knows, in time those robots might be able to replicate emotions, or even generate them to become a fully developed artificial life form. Would you accept thi...
If A.I. took the place of musicians, would you listen to it? It is an open question of how far AI can go. This is the most dangerous experiment I can think of. We can't really even control ourselves, how can we hope to be able to control we don't know what ? And why bother with this AI nonsense, anyway ? P...
If A.I. took the place of musicians, would you listen to it? sns, Well said.
If A.I. took the place of musicians, would you listen to it? My position is very clear. I will not listen to this artificial junk or support it in any way. The argument that AI is created by humans is weak to me, and in time AI may not need human participation at all. People better start improving natural i...
Do your ears deceive you? Yet another comparison. First I put Purist Audio Dominus Rev B power cord on PS Audio regenerator and Purist Aquila on VAC amp and then reversed it. The difference was big, with Dominus on VAC and Aquila on the regenerator it was much better in ev...
Do your ears deceive you? My system is modest but very sensitive to any changes. However, once I had some fun with comparing Wywires Diamond, that's their top of the line $2700 RCA cables, and older Gabriel Gold Infusion RCAs. I was using my trusted Nakamichi 682ZX deck as...
Discount on Internet order All this creates a toxic climate - who will out rip off who and whose deception will not be uncovered first. Is this a new interpretation of fair play ?

How cheap can you go and still be happy with the sound? That's a bit extreme, at least in terms of price, that RTR deck. You can easily find $3k or so two track Otari in excellent condition. Or $10k Studer. They can still be serviced and repaired.
Find the Problem Dirty power, dirty records, dirty stylus. Something is dirty, or all of those. I personally used to have this from time to time, the cause was dirty power.
How cheap can you go and still be happy with the sound? Don't get me too wrong, I can sometimes kind of enjoy listening to iphone when I have nothing better at the moment. Yes, this is audiophile forum and standards should be high enough. $10k is not much really.
How cheap can you go and still be happy with the sound? Let's not be ridiculous. Good sound has a cost and it should. I don't think there is anything under $10k-$15k that would qualify. Assuming one source. |
