Of course. More organic, more natural, closer to reality. It always upsets me when I hear that some speakers are intentionally made to sound their best with SS. In my book this is a very wrong approach and I will never consider such speakers. SS...

I think, first of all, with SS something is missing. It's a negative coloration. Then there is always this metallic element to their sound. That's positive coloration.

OP is way more polite than I am but I will play along. It sure gets expensive like hell after a certain level. Every tube, every cone, every cable, not to mention active components. You can be anything in your imagination, try to build it in real...

czarivey, that's the real point. To compare speakers to acoustic instrument. I would only add voice to your list. Voice is the most basic and most important instrument. And we all have it.
