Dedicated Line - Things to consider
. . . here is one that I found interseting on the topic of a single circuit vs multiple circuits and RF . . .
Dedicated Line - Things to consider
. . . ad here is one on the subject of subpanels and grounds . . .
Dedicated Line - Things to consider
@immatthewj I searched and read a lot of the posts but didn’t see anything comprehensive posted recently.  @audphile1 , I scrolled through my own replies to threads and starting in late October is when I began paying attention to the dedicated ...
Dedicated Line - Things to consider
@whart  excellent synopsis of what I have been reading on this subject over the last month or so.  Particularly excellent was the reference to Jea48 on the subject.  I have learned a lot from him (and Erik Squires and Dpop and Ditusa and others).
Dedicated Line - Things to consider
. . . as I have recently been redoing my circuits I have been paying attention to these dedicate circuit question threads, and there have been a whole lot of them over the last month or so.  I am not sure how the search function works on this site...
Dedicated Line - Things to consider
I am pretty sure that most everyone will say to run a minimum of 12 awg with 20A breakers. There does seem to be disagreement on whether gear on multiple circuits induces RF or not. I won’t even venture into this territory given my knowledge defi...
Advantage using one electrical leg for audio system?
Thanks for the clarification, @jea48  . NO.. Two 10/2 with ground Romex cables fed from single pole breakers fed from the same Line, Leg,... IS Much, Much, better than what you have now... Actually I am presently running my gear on three runs...
Advantage using one electrical leg for audio system?
@jea48 , then is the way OP did it The OP has a 3 wire multiwire branch circuit. He’s stuck with what he has. He has two separate circuits that must be fed from both legs that share a common neutral conductor. preferable to running two circuit...
Cryogenic Tubes - Time for a Change
If it sounds better to you, that’s what counts. But I would say that if you had been listening to that previous set of tubes for quite some time (as it sounds as if you have been) you hve been hearing, and are experienced with, the sound of them ...
Hum on Tube Amp - Can't find source
Was following and good to read it appears to be sorted out. . . .
Help and Advice Needed: Cary Audio SLP-05 Preamp RMA Disaster
Yuk, another Cary horror story.  (And I am a owner of Cary products, including the SLP 05.) You’ve been through a lot with Cary and with that statement, I’d give up if I were in your shoes. I’d pack the thing up, bring it to my dealer, @cleeds...
My first tube integrated: which one to get?
I’m glad you agree that not all Cary products are made in America. @lradder are you sure about that? I just picked one digital unit (at random), the DMS-650, and according to the review it is made in The USA. I guess I could go through all the...
My first tube integrated: which one to get?
@lradder  Cary products are made in China. Where did you come by that tid-bit of bogus misinformation?
Power conditioner vs use of a audio grade outlet?
Thank you, @erik_squires  .
Power conditioner vs use of a audio grade outlet?
Thank you for sticking with me on this, @erik_squires  , if you could bear with me just a bit longer: if this was the ideal circuit in a utopian world of circuitry and there was NO resistance (V=5A x 0R=0V) then you are saying that although 5 a...
