Voltage conversion of Accuphase A-48
1=white+orange 2= red 3= blue 4= black+yellow 5= brown 6=none To measure DC resistance, you need to pull out all transformer primary winding wires from the quick connect terminals, make sure all wires not touching each others, using a DMM to me...
HT/2 channel setup sharing is hurting my brain
No such thing as a dumb question, sorry I did not mention how to connect the line level converter. What you need is two pair of speaker wires (lamp cord will work just fine) connect from tube amp output terminals parallel the Heresy, to line level...
I need advice on bi amping
what is the best way to go, vertical or horizontal? Go vertical, put the amp close to the speaker, use shorter speaker cable.

I'm not getting anything out of the tube pre-out to the sub.  I'm guessing because it's a switched pre-amp out section?  There is a toggle on the front of the unit to switch it to pre-amp mode. https://www.china-hifi-audio.com/download/Oper...

Voltage conversion of Accuphase A-48
Do you think both 100V and 120V are the same wiring? No. imhififan, do you have any reasons that looks like wired to 120V? I was just guessing. Maybe the A-48 just changed one set of primary winding color of wires (orange-red-gray) only...
Accuphase DP-560
do I need to change J4, too? For 120V conversion, no need to change J4.
Is there such a thing as too much power?
depending on how loud one listens to music, the efficiency of the speakers, and the acoustical environment, having a big reserve of power may not increase sound quality. +1 Horses for courses You don't need 20 tons air-conditioner to cool down 20...
Homemade sub used with Sonus Faber Olympica III
I think your solution is add a high pass filter to the Sonus Fabers or use a separate amp to power the JBL.
Homemade sub used with Sonus Faber Olympica III
If you like to know how low the JBL and the Sonus Faber Olympica III can go, connect the JBL to one channel and an Olympica to another channel and play some test tone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwrbFj9r10Y

How you connect the JBL to your system? Did you use a separate amp to power the JBL?
Amp binding posts for bare speaker wires
Since you always favored bare wire connections for connecting speakers to amplifier binding posts, my suggestion is terminate the neutrik speakon cable with banana plugs, so you can separate the speaker wires (bare wire) from the sub wires (banana...
