My Luxman Integrated has AC Inlet Envy
I bought a cheap replacement inlet and it just feels so much better. Meaning, I can feel the plug grip the pins much earlier, and they all grip much better. Yes, change the IEC C-14 is the best option!šŸ‘ I found some photos online the Luxman ...
Dummy Speaker Load
Iā€™ve read about disconnecting your speakers while running a break-in or demagnetizing or such CD, and in their place putting some kind of resistor across the speaker leads. Just so you donā€™t have to worry about possibly loud volume for an hour wh...

Need Help Calculating System Amp Draw
Will lightning jump a circuit breaker? Normally I just flip the circuit in a storm, itā€™s too hard for me to get behind the desk and unplug from the wall. That'sĀ good as long as it's not a direct strike!šŸ‘ One thing to bear in mind is DO NOT USE...

Shindo preamp rewire 230v to 240v
@essrandĀ  Sorry I don't have experience of any Shindo amplifiers. However, if the back panel printed 100V/120V/230V 50/60Hz, I will assume it can be wired to any of the printed voltage by a qualified technician.
Shindo preamp rewire 230v to 240v
Best to check with seller and ask to see a pic of the power transformer, if it comes with dual 120V primary windings, it can be easily wired to 240V by any qualified technician.
Shindo preamp rewire 230v to 240v
It is safe to plug a 230V Shindo preamp to 240V mains in Australia, no need to rewire the transformer. BTW, all the power transformer in Shindo preamps I know of only comes with two set of 0-100-120V primary windings. It only can configured to ei...
Can I connect a DC power supply to Line 6 Micro Spider with AC "port"?
Your amp only has one power supply port, designed to take the OUTPUT* plug of a wall wart AC/DC converter (ie: the PX-2g). jea48 is correct! The PX-2G is a transformer step down 120VAC to 9VAC, it's not a wall wart AC/DC converter. The, "AC...
