"They simply don't make them like this anymore"
Weeeell maybe audio marches on -- the question is in what direction? Mind you labour intensive applicatons have become much more expensive -- even though digital (s/w, etc) has helped lower the prices in certain domains... Also certain materials c...

You might test it out using clamps... we actually drilled the appropriate holes on both baffles

Amen! Viridian (if you'll allow the expression).
where is ref level on the realitine scale
If you're talking about digital level, ref is full-scale -- i.e. the highest. Anthing else will be termed in negative (as in "-3db" etc). Accordingly, the lowest scale on, say, 16 bit should be s/where around -96db.Sorry if I misunderstood yr ques...
Ravel Violin Sonata
I can't for the life of me remember the piano. Another performance I like is the Shlomo Mintz, violin/Yefim Bronfman, p. on -- DG I think. Cheers

WBT Topline or Nextgen RCAs for Pass X250

Which performance are you listening to?
Two subwoofers in smallish HT room?
Wy on earth would one drive stereo subs channels out of phase? They would cancel at some frequencies and add at others, surely...
Pasive Amplification or Monoblocks ????
What happen with the power if I add another Pass Aleph 30Theoretically you add 3db. In practise, passive biamping is an expensive way of driving yr spkrs a little bit better. Ideally, to biamp, you need to do it actively, i.e. have the crossover B...
