@erik_squires .You might be on some peoples list, but not mine.@OP,I concur with your assessment. For me, I just scroll past those threads.@jl35,I agree, many of these posters have a knack of derailing threads.B
Building an AUDIOPHILE friendly PC from scratch so what is a must to consider in 2020?

At the very least, I would incorporate a program like Fidelizer with a Windows system.A person to contact would be Sam Laufer of Laufer Teknik. He makes The Memory Player, and Mini. He also offers software that aids in digital sound reproduction.La...
Anyone else never get tired of Billie Holiday?
I should add that the Verve set I mentioned has a lot of outtakes and studio ramblings. Some might find it annoying, but hearing Billie sing 'My Yiddishe Mama' to her child was pretty neat.Of course, if you don't want to buy that set, you can defi...

Anyone else never get tired of Billie Holiday?
The Verve collection from the 1990's was one of the nicest CD collections ever produced, mostly due to Phil Schaap. If you can find the original set, you'll be in for a treat. Later editions lack all the details and extras. Here is a listing for on...
Better Subwoofer for 2 channel Music: Focal Utopia Sub or JL Fathom f113
@audiophil, BTW, I've had lots of audiophiles with Wilsons, Focals, Magenpans, Soundlabs, Vandersteens, etc. tell me that a sub in a 2-channel system is a travesty. I won't speak for Wilson, Focal, or your audiophile friends,  but I can say that...

Is there a such too much power for speakers?
@nasaman ,One of the underlying benefits of having an 'excess' of power is that the amp will not be coming anywhere close to its maximum power output. When operating in its comfort zone, an amp will have lower distortion, and sound 'better'.A very ...
Preamps with Dual XLR Outputs
@yyzsantabarbara ,I can assure you Ralph and his staff will give you great advice.Like I said, I owned both the MP-3 and now the MP-1.Had I not moved to an Ayre KX-R, I wouldn't have known/cared about the difference between the two Atma preamps.So...
