@tvad .I have to say my experience mimics yours. I had some XLR's from Ralph Karsten that I have been using for years, but went with some new AQ XLR cables ( I have found their new cables work extremely well with my systems). And, to be honest, I d...
Help with Blusound Node 2i and Qobuz output
@rnrmf1971 . +1.The Bluesound app sometimes acts on its' own and lowers the volume. Why it does this, who knows?I'd also call Schiit if the Bluesound app isn't the culprit.B

Should I use long interconnects, or long speaker cables?
+1 on Balanced interconnect/short speaker cables, @ozzy .Rumble from a turntable is most likely due to poor isolation. Either the turntable itself, or equipment being influenced by vibrations. Also, improperly set up subs can accentuate rumble.It's...
High Eng Audio Auctions on Ebay does not honor their deals
I would contact Ebay directly. They have been very receptive to my inquiries when I had issues with sellers.Highendaudio listed the item and it's shipping price. You paid, so if the costs of shipping are too high, that is their problem, not yours....

Niagara 1200 and subwoofers
@OP, getting a hum/buzz for 30 or 60 second intervals sounds like there is something on or near the circuitNeon lights, dimmers, refrigerators seem to be the usual suspects.Do you have a TV in the mix?Bob

@atmasphere ,Thanks for replying, but I did helped with the buzz.As I said, the Belles Aria monoblocks made a big difference. The buzz is still there, but at least it is not noticeable. My office system is on a dedicated line with everything connec...
The Belles Aria Signature Integrated Amplifier
@troidelover,I own the Aria monoblocks and think they are great, I was considering the Signature, but it was a bit too expensive for my modest rig.The best person to put your questions to is John Rutan (audioconnection). He would be able to put th...
Speaker Positioning
@twoleftears , +1 A laser measure will be the most accurate.@OP,There are other measurements that can be considered. Sound pressure level, frequency response are just two.If you are serious, why not contact a high end dealer to assess your system?...
I've been dragged to recommendations, kicking and screaming
I give a +1 to Spotify's recommendations.Even the Discover Weekly offers up some obscure gem.Though lately, I have been listening mostly to NPR/WAPO news, along with Seth Meyers and Trevor Noah. I got a 3 month discounted trial, but, I have to say...

@atmasphere ,Even with the Belles, I still get a buzz. Not as bad as with the McCormack's but still there. At least it is listenable.B
The value of a good FM tuner?......, now and in the future...
I jumped ship from FM and went to CD's decades ago. Not having to listen to advertisements or know-it-all announcers was heaven sent.I am now a fervent streamer. I use a Bluesound Node and an external Dac (Ayre Codex), and find the sound quality t...
