LSA 20 Signature Loudspeaker
You should probably look at bookshelf speakers, as they are meant to be placed near corners. Bob
 Streichmelodion ??
It is always amazing to find instruments that never made it. Equally amazing is that the piano is only 300 or so years old. B
You ended up with Ayre, what are your speakers?
Vandy Treo's for me. Ayre tends to be very “airy” with lots of soundstage, and excellent tonality, but, some may consider that “bright”. Non-Twenty iterations were often not so much 'bright' but bass shy. The Diamond circuit really changed eve...
Vandersteen Forum
If anyone is to blame, it is I. (-As Jane Hathaway would have said).😏   I invited Ralph to join in a thread to discuss time/phase delay in his new Class D amps, because I don’t have the knowledge or verbal/written ability to either make or rubut...
Receptacle outlet, nickel plating, is this a problem?
Well, you post seems to be coming from another here. I believe, @jea48 , would be the one to answer, as he seems to know which outlets are SS and which are nickel plated. Bob
Outlet - Shunyata vs Hubble 20 amp
There are few Audiogon members whose opinion I respect as much as @jea48. As I have posted on other threads, you can do what you want. But, when you post here, asking for information/opinions, I often see many not accepting the opinions of those...
Thought I’d share: Nicely done and practical DAC review
Darko is a pretty good reviewer. And, I take his opinion seriously. Bob
Built-in vs. Standalone DACs
Hey, do what you want to do. If you know what you want, then do it. B
Amplifier for Wilson Audio Alexia V
Once again, I suggest contacting John R., he knows just about all there is out there.-And, his advice is free. Let me know if you want his number. Like I said, you should listen to your Levinson's. They might work. If not, then see if you can de...
Built-in vs. Standalone DACs
I know some folks might feel that paying an extra $5-7k for a built-in DAC module on some of these higher end integrated amps might seem like a lot. But when you factor in the cost of a good power cord and interconnects, it doesn’t sound like a ba...
Qln, Joseph Audio, Audiovector, Marten, or Canton...?
@thr1961 ,  I know it would be a schlep, but a visit to Audioconnections in Verona, NJ would be time well spent. If you could line up some other dealers on the way, then it would be quite a nice trip that would help you decide. And, perhaps reach...
Outlet - Shunyata vs Hubble 20 amp
@jea48 , You can lead a horse to water... In any case, you tried. Bob
Qln, Joseph Audio, Audiovector, Marten, or Canton...?
I heard the QLN at the NY audio show a year ago. They were very nice, but seemed to be held back by either the system or cables. They seemed to be similar to my Vandy Treo's when I had lesser equipment/cables.-Hence, my first comment. B
Combination streamer and music server…without DAC
@oddiofyl , +1 @soix , +1, too. B
Adding Subs to a 2 channel system. Wiring advise
In the 'no free lunch' category, DSP has limitations. You can introduce time/phase delays/inconsistencies. YMMV. B
