Power amp around $3000 for C-J Classic preamp
Used CJ Premier 12 monos.
Shindo pre amp and Auditorium Hommage T1 Tranny
I would find out the impedance of the Temper. Then find out it's ideal load setting. I would then pass that info on to your Shindo dealer or Tone Imports.
Shout out for Neil Young's Sugar Mountain Live LP
I ordered the Massey Hall from my local record shop, and found a nice copy of After the Gold Rush for $15.00 while rummaging through their bins. There is another live LP, "Live in San Francisco at the Cow Palace" now available. It's great to have t...
For Basis TT owners does the VPI SDS work?
Sam,Thanks. I prefer copper cabling as well. This is goingto be tough to address for two reasons. A.J.'s PSST issilver, so he will likely be insulted if I ask him to change it to another brand. The second reason of course isjust having to send the...
For Basis TT owners does the VPI SDS work?
Samhar- Thanks for checking on it. My guess is that all Vectors that use the hard-wired proprietary cable use PSST silver.
Shout out for Neil Young's Sugar Mountain Live LP
Thanks Bongofury. I will check it out. There is also an older boot that is highly recommended in a Neil Young book which I am reading. I think it is called Rock & Roll Cowboy, but I will double check for sure. I know Cowboy is in the title tho...
For Basis TT owners does the VPI SDS work?
I know this is off the subject, but a question for Samhar and/or fellow Basis owners. I noticed in Samhars system page,he refers to his tonearm cable as Basis copper. I believe my PSST cable on my Vector mk.3 is silver. Is there an option for a co...
Shout out for Neil Young's Sugar Mountain Live LP
Thought it would be better to revive this thread rather than start a new one. Has anyone also heard his Fillmore east show, and how it would compare to Massey or Canterbury. I have MH on CD, and thinking of grabbing it on vinyl. Any opinions on ju...
Well Tempered Amadeus
Thanks for your comments. It really seems to be a special product. I am thinking about either downgrading or simply getting rid of my digital setup in favor of a second TT. The Amadeus is certainly my main prospect. Hope this all helps the OP.

Ghunter said: The WT has so much more life and sounds anything but sterile. - Congrats on the new table. I have heard it twice, and it sounded very good indeed. I am curious about your anything but sterile comment. Was there someone earlier on in ...
Emmylou Harris, "Red Dirt Girl"
Has anyone heard her on Live at the Ryman CD or LP. I wanted to maybe grab this one, as I heard a great version of "Get up John" on the radio today.
Speakers with Lamm ML2.1
Well, I am going to disagree with Lapierre about the Avalon Eidolon Diamond.I am going to agree with Kurt tanks disagree. The same would hold true with the Magico's though, not happening with 18 WPC. I am aware that the ML2.1 is a conservative 18 ...
Koetsu Coralstone vs Olympos or Universe?
Syntax: All Koetsus I did use or listened to, give a better Performance in a heavy Arm which has precise tough Bearing. Lots of pics show Koetsus with Triplanar, for sure most owners like it, but I found better solutions (for me)Thanks for your co...
The better Led Zeppellin live recordings on vinyl.
Donjr: You're not missing anything by not having In Through the Out Door or Coda.I am planning to do without these last two, on favor of somelive stuff. I saw both HTWWW, and BBC sessions at Barnes and Noble last night, so they are available on CD...
The better Led Zeppellin live recordings on vinyl.
Thanks for the first four thoughts and suggestions. It was the BBC sessions that was in the back of my mind. Acoustic Sounds has it for $250, although it is a 4 LP set. I think it's a matter of finding their better performances, and taking the sou...
