At This Time Can We Recreate Full Range Live Music In The Home?
Simple answer, NO. Why would you want that kind of volume? I need to save my ears. Clarity and dynamic range, maybe close.
Has Anyone Ever Run TWO Identical Pairs of Speakers ?
I'm certainly not saying multiple tweeters are the way to go, in fact I like both vertical and horizontal driver alignment best. Just said sometimes the benefit outweighs the imaging issue, like volume when I was still in college.

We need more info about your system. Not familiar with your speakers, but doesn't look like protection within the speakers.
Bi-wire changes for non bi-wire speakers
No problem, but what you describe is not bi-wired.
I had a few drinks and bought some speakers
I bought some speakers after a party. They still sound great, won't be selling until my estate sale.
Biggest audio hoaxes
rufusluna - How many ears do you have?
Active Speaker Choice
I'd be happy to. How many ways? 2-way, 3-way, more? Crossover slopes? Lowest cost? Just basic?
What does clipping sound like?
Best of luck! I'm signing out now.
How do you know if you need to add a sub (without auditioning one, I mean)?
Just TRY a sub. We're beating a dead horse now.

mijostyn - You are absolutely correct in theory and the higher the frequency, the more it matters. My question is have you tried it? Sometimes the benefits outweigh the image issue. Just my 2 cents.
Active Speaker Choice
High-amp - That's a good one, guess that was above steve. Not that expensive, was using Phase Linear and Crown when I started 42 years ago. Made my own active electronic X-overs for years. Never went back to passive crossovers for main room.
Equalizer for hearing loss
I get it, pro hearing aids. I use an EQ for myself and switch it out when others are around.
