ac regenerator for pc emi/rfi
Thanks for the info on CleanSweep, I appreciate it! I'll check it out.
Well, user error isn't over just yet *sigh*
Sounds like a good deal. I do like Klipsch horns a lot. High efficiency speakers, horns, for audio are my preference. Wait until you're a little older, I need to do all my close/small soldering tasks in the morning while my eyes are still fresh. W...
Equalizer for hearing loss
Parametric EQ's work the best for me.
How do you know if you need to add a sub (without auditioning one, I mean)?
If you're not sure about subs, why don't you try a new SB3000? That way you can return it if you don't like the improvement. If you do like it, then you can look for a second used SB3000. What do you think?

cleeds - Thanks for your offer to help, I will contact you off of this thread. I haven't been able to achieve a perfect duplicate.
Has Anyone Ever Run TWO Identical Pairs of Speakers ?
pedroeb - Sorry, you need to check Ohm's law. Parallel will halve the nominal 6 ohms to 3 ohms. Series will make the load 12 ohms. As for your comment on THD, maybe, but not necessarily. Also series speaker connections are not recommended by anyon...

Only Buzzing Output Through Speakers
If it's quiet without a source and buzz/hum with source, could be a bad ground or something in the input circuit of the amp. My guess is the outputs on the amp are still good. Have you used the source on another amp? With unbalanced 1/4" phone plu...

If you don't try at least one sub, you will never know what you're missing. I think at least 2 subs are needed for a decent stereo, but TRY a good one that goes down to 20Hz., you'll be impressed for sure.
Older vs. newer REL subs
I agree with missioncoonery. Phase on a sub if using below 35Hz. doesn't do anything from what I can tell. Just add more subs, that’s a much better idea.

If you think it's possible to make a bit perfect copy trivially, I'm happy for you. If you take a look at all of the raw data of both D to D files, some bits are corrupt. I have experimented with A to D, not to say it's bad at all, very good, just...

In subs, you get what you pay for. I like REL and JL audio. Hsu is OK if you like the boom. The ONLY Sunfire subs that are worth anything are the XTEQ 12. Hum was a big problem with Sunfire, you have to use the high level inputs to avoid the hum.
To horn or not to horn
+1 for "good" horns. Efficiency is a big plus for audio in general.

Lossless is not possible. Close if masters were digital, but analog masters, NO way. Just my opinion...

+1 Stacked Advents. Would be better if ALL drivers are vertically aligned.
