| Dated but still A rated DACs I consider Mytek's fairly new, and very good sounding. Theta's always sound good too. An underrated performer, the Casanova, goes up to 96kHz/24, and does sound much better on hi-res than Redbook. | |

| Aragon 2002 Pre amp to a Monitor Audio subwoofer The problem with most such outputs is they are driven by a single output stage. If you short them, they will become mono. Subwoofer inputs however are buffered, and keep the L and R separated as far as the preamp is concerned. Best,E | |
