Let Roon upsample vs let Lumin T2 do the work
Yes it's a gaming computer with 16gb of ram and i7 processor.  It has plenty of power to do whatever, but does it do it the same as the Lumin?
Adding wireless surrounds bad idea or works well?
Yeah @trevanian, good wireless rear speakers would be such an awesome thing, I'm surprised too that more people have not tried them or weighed in on the good/bad parts.
Adding wireless surrounds bad idea or works well?
Wow no opinions..  I should have added that I'm considering a cryogenically frozen power cord to the wireless receiver in the rear for added transparency and less latency.
Ready to move onto next stage of streaming
The lumin app is far behind BluOS.. Usability means alot to me and BluOS is much better...Reasons:Lumin app doesn't give top tracks by artist (huge no no to me)Lumin app does not allow you to add a song to your existing Tidal playlist. There are a ...

millercarbon, your system is sick to say the least.  Mind if I ask about your background or career?  What allowed you to get so tedious with the advanced and quite expense tweaks??
Streamer XLR Balanced - Blue Jean Cable Belden 1800f or Canare L-4E6S ?
@tvad I'm guessing people generally agree that's a "better" cable?  My problem is I have Audioquest Water xlr also going from the pre to the amps.  I got them at a killer deal and do NOT want to pay full price to match them.
Streamer XLR Balanced - Blue Jean Cable Belden 1800f or Canare L-4E6S ?
@adg101 thanks for the insight.. I mentioned the speakers because they're 4ohm.. I wasn't sure if that made a difference.Thanks @tvad

Great information, thanks for all the input...  Ok so let me ask this then::::Would a power regenerator like those from PS Audio not negate this need?  If I get a power regenerator, it's totally regenerating clean power so is there still a benefit...
Dedicated 20 amp circuit - Electrician laughed!
@elevick he actually recommended a whole house surge protector.@tomic601 he mentioned hospital grade outlets and grounding and all but I really don't remember exactly what he said.  But he did act familiar with high end outlets like those from PS ...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
@shiner01  Thanks for posting.. Great information.
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
@audiorusty  My understanding of the video was it measured much higher plugged without isolation feet.  Then much less with isolation feet.He talks about why he thinks there was very little difference with/without feet unplugged...  yet a signific...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
To expound on the YT vid I mentioned, his measurements, if I remember correctly, showed almost no impact on a PORTED sub.  There certainly is a difference in the way cabinets react to a moving woofer in a sealed cabinet with no air escape, so this...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
@jetter yes mine came with the normal small hard rubber feet to keep the sub off the floor about 1/2 inch.99% of the things I've read/seen/heard about the SVS isolation feet has been positive. Tighter more accurate bass, sometimes deeper bass, etc...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
I think some people are too smart for their own good and too dumb to know it.  1. The SVS Isolation feet are basically the same as squash balls or any other type of rubber device that limits the transmission of energy into the floor.  2. This conv...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
@geoffkait then how do you explain significantly less db at 20hz -  80 hz?  That's not "better" it's just quieter.  So of course there's less perceived boominess and distortion.  Check out the video that shows his testing and measurements with/wit...
