Anyone have/ordered the Job 225?
Jesus! Sorry to say, but sounds like you have something going on there. I never felt the heatsinks, but I'll do it tomorrow morning.
Anyone have/ordered the Job 225?
Hmm.My 225 was an early unit which had the grounding problem.  Not to worry though. It is an easy fix. I sent my 225 to a place in NYC as instructed by Goldmund/Job. Mine was covered under warranty but since yours is used, you'll obviously have to...
TUBE AMP LOVERS - What SS amp makes you smile???
After years of tube amps, I now love my Job/Goldmund 225.
What used speaker would you buy with $20,000-$35,000 and why?
+1 to martykl. But seriously, I like Venture, Bosehendorfor (or however it’s spelled), and Kaiser.
I am really disappointed with the hip-hop enthusiasts on Audiogon
Can't believe I'm saying this but.....I agree with Schube.(Hi Schube!)I listen mostly to classical and jazz but occasionally throw in some rap. I've always felt rock was.....how shall I say..... overrated.

No coughs in 30 concerts?BS.
Fed up with people making noise at classical shows
Btw, I find it very hard to believe that in 30 concerts you've heard no noise from the audience.  I couldn't go 30 minutes without hearing something.
Fed up with people making noise at classical shows
Hello again Schube.  You have a good point.Maybe because this is Philly and here on the east coast, we're a little less polite than other areas of the country. (actually, a lot less). You either love it or hate it.
Fed up with people making noise at classical shows
@ml8: no need to hate classical simply because, (and I'm assuming here), you don't attend live classical concerts. It's different from other genres of music......and I like MANY different types.  My original complaint was, if you can't be silent a...

@mmporsche: If looking for a rack, check out Audio Elegance. I have a three tier, double wide rack called "the lowboy". It's beautiful, IMO. It was far cheaper than some of the other multi-thousand dollar racks I've seen but won't mention here.  H...
