i hate Beatle fans. (REFERENCE TO ANALOG PLANET article)
The Beatles? You mean Paul McCarthy’s old backup band? They were OK.
My Next Upgrade: Speakers or Turntable?
I had the same decision to make 2 years back as my old turntable died. But I upgraded my Speakers first and glad I did. Although I have a good 150  albums, I finally did upgrade to a nice table, but I really have found I don’t listen to vinyl as m...
Sound improvement with DAC, or Amp update
Normally I would say DAC, but it's your AVR that is the weakness piece right now. I had a top-end Denon AVR which I replaced with a Luxman integrated first and it made a significant, and easy to hear difference. I doubt you'd hear that much of an ...
Which is better the DA2 in the Mcintosh MA12000 or Bluesound node?
If switching it back and forth is not possible or too much trouble, then here is what I can tell you. I owned the Bluesound and although the DAC is good, I did end up using an outboard DAC and it was much better. Although I have not heard the Mac,...
Panasonic Plasma TC-P65ZT60 and TC-P65ZT60 usage hours?
Unless it’s free, it’s not worth it. I had the smaller version of this one and once it burns out (and knowing the hours won’t predict when it will), it’s not worth repairing.
Vinyl Repair?
@vinylvin - Did you mean buy another wife or record?  Cheap to get one, VERY expensive to get rid of one.....or so I've heard.
First CD player help!
The last CD player I had was a Rotel, it sounded very natural and blew away several higher priced ones. A used or new would be in your ballpark based on the rest of your equipment. I'd personally avoid the changers, more to go wrong and doesn't ag...
2022 Grammy Award Show?
It was an enjoyable show. I agree with @gpgr4blu overall. Billie and Jon are true talents.
Digital separates or all in one music hub
@ghdprentice - I second your comments about Bluesound and Aurender. I also would keep the DAC separate so you can upgrade in the future (you can use an outboard DAC on the Bluesound (later if you want) and Aurender has it both ways).
Neutral, transparent, warm
So, I find Harbeth to be slightly warm yet very natural/transparent. However I do not find it "Fast". I had Totem and KEF speakers and listened to many B&W's and found them to sound 'Fast" - but can I describe 'Fast" for you? Perhaps Lively is...
Best double studio vinyl?
@dekay - SPOT ON! For me it's the Allman Brothers double albums, second place is the Dead's triple Europe '72 album. The other choices here are not bad either...
System bottleneck?
If you listen to mostly records, then the turntable/cartridge is the first thing to do. I say that since I have the Rega 6 with their MC cartridge and would consider it very good, but it's "low" High-end. I listen to albums a only few times a week...
Pass Labs INT-25 or equivalent in another brand
I have the Luxman 590axII which is 30 watts pure class A, 45 into 4 ohms. Some reviews state after that it’s class B to 90. Great sounding.
I miss my Loudness Button and Tone Controls....
Can’t give you help on adding a Schitt, but I have heard good things about them. I went with a Luxman integrated (590AXII) and love it. Has tone and loudness that can be bypassed, I know that some people say tone/loudness isn’t pure, but I’m into ...
