Node2i to Aurender N100SC…WoW!
I went from a Vault2 using their internal DAC, to using the Vault with an external DAC, big improvement, then I upgraded the Vault to an Aurender N200 with the outboard DAC. Very happy with the improvements that each change gave me. Each was a ste...

@noromance @bkeske  Damn, making me jealous guys! Bachelors??
NEW DUST COVER CARE AND CLEANING
Any eye-'glass' cleaner like you get at the optometrists. All eyeglass' are now plastic and using an eyeglass cleaner with those small eyeglass cloths works for me. Don't use windex or any real glass cleaner. Just what I do.
NRBQ live at The Doug Fir Lounge in Portland this Friday (tomorrow)!
Love NRBQ! Saw them many times in the 70's and 80's on the East Coast in small venues. At Yankee Stadium was my favorite. Won't be able to make it, but hope they get asked for requests....
Veneer delamination
@rodman99999  Rodman is correct, a towel laid on the bubble and a warm iron should do it, lay it on for only a short 10-12 seconds and lift the iron and the towel should only be warm, do it several times, no rushing it, and it should remelt the g...
what’s a song cover that you think is better than the original?
@ericsch  Thanks for the Video! Really enjoyed it.
The greatest tweak ever?
I now plan to create a perfect vacuum in my listening room. That should solve the problem....other then having to wear a scuba mask and have a tank of air to breathe of course....also in space, no one can hear you scream.....or play music....
Bookshelf speakers on a bookshelf (Sad)
I would have recommended Harbeth, I have them on a bookshelf, but they are not a good match with McIntosh (no hate there, I had that setup and it was not a good match). And if you liked the sound of your B&W's, you probably won't like the Harb...
Speakers need to be placed close to back wall. Help
I had the same problem and choose Harbeth's. They have a port in the front, whereas most speakers have ports in the rear of the speakers making the bass muddy when close to a back wall. You can find used (and new) ones easily for your price range ...
Upgrading
I myself did speakers first, IC next, Power cords last. In theory, Power cords should be first, IC next, speakers last, but felt my power conditioner did good enough job. I also felt that if the cords after the power cords were not up to snuff, th...
? progress
I owned Hafler stuff in the 80's-early 90's. My first real 'high-end system". Nice sounding stuff back then, not so much compared to what you can buy today, especially if it hasn't been checked for decaying electrical parts. If you own it, keep it...
Your thoughts on selling
I would not have the buyer decide what to pay. And unless you really don't mind the headache of selling and mailing them individually, or you need the slightly extra cash (you need to also factor in your time), I'd agree with @bubba12 and sell the...
How To Write a Hit Song (#1)
Sad.
What Is Most Important?
@thecarpathian  Yes.
Can you vote on this song, 1 being brilliant, 5 being crap
Movie soundtrack, something you'd find in a Hallmark movie, so a 3. I would only listen to it once as a classical piece, so a 4-5 for that. Sorry if I offended anyone, just an opinion.
