Interesting information from Analog Planet on Stylus Cleaner Onzow Zero Dust.
@terry9  or perhaps none of the above, and none of them heard any degradation at all. ..:0)

@terry9 There are many folk here who have used Zerodust for years, do you seriously think that none of them would have noticed major build up of goop by now that someone would have heard a difference in SQ???

"I am sure that is what started the investigation...." How would you know this???

Over the years we have heard from numerous ’experts’ in the analog field that there are all kinds of ’no no’s’ when it comes to stylus cleaning. I clearly remember those very same people telling everyone that the Last Stylus cleaner can migrate up...
Moving away from inefficient/low impedance speaker in order to move to a Tube Amp
Folks seem to forget one very important factor when choosing an amp, tube or ss, and that is the quality and ability of the transformer. This, IMO, has more to do with the drive capability than just about anything else. The amount of watts/ch is s...
Looking for thoughts on Sonus Faber speakers
IMO, there are basically two different sounds to the SF camp. The original speakers designed by Franco Serblin are to my ears more accurate to the sound of live voice and strings. The newer sound, after Franco, are more forgiving of upstream error...
Nordost Odin or Valhalla 2
Interesting thread. I am a total believer that cables make a big difference. However, here’s an interesting story that i posted on another forum...I have a good a’phile friend who just acquired a $50K preamp. This preamp is well known and it sound...
Furutech GTX NCF receptical break in, how long
Reminds me of an old joke...new car buyer asks how long will her car take to break in?...dealer says...by the time the engine blows--she’s well broken in!
I think some cables are just a little too expensive.
I have a good friend who just bought a $45K preamp. He told me with tax and all it came to just shy of $50K. Interestingly, this friend also told me that there is no way in the world that this preamp should cost anything like what he paid...no way...
A Record Collection/Moral Conundrum - What Would You Do?
@kavakat1 +1 Great post, although I doubt the OP will have created an ailment ( although you never know with some of the ’advice’ that he has received here!) LOL...A bailment, yes---an ailment??:0)
A Record Collection/Moral Conundrum - What Would You Do?
@prof I applaud you for contacting your ex-friend and asking him if he wants the records back. If he replies that he does, and he wants you to deliver them, and he has no intention of paying you for your loan...leads back to my advice to seek lega...
A Record Collection/Moral Conundrum - What Would You Do?
Perhaps there are two separate issues here..;) One is the money you lent to your 'friend' and which perhaps he now still owes you ( assuming you had some kind of deed or note)- and two- is the sale of his possessions. I do not think they are conne...
Tube preamp with the best built in phono - $4k budget
If you can source one, a used CAT SL1 Ultimate Mk 2 or 3 with phono.  Alternatively a 5000 series CAT SL1 Signature with phono.
Jadis JA30 Mk2, how great???
Ok, now back to the regular scheduled programming......
Jadis JA30 Mk2, how great???
@mozartfan  JA30 are over priced?? I don't think this is a true statement. The new JA30 Mk2, NOT to be confused with the older model JA30, is priced at a point that it would be hard for you to name other competing new products at a similar or lowe...
