Need integrated amp with built-in USB DAC
A used Naim UnitiQute appears to meet all your requirements. Other units to consider would be the PS Audio Sprout, and the Sonos Amp. Neither the Sprout or Sonos are "killer" pieces, but both will attach to a Mac. The Naim has much better sound, b...

@Rja: You're missing the point. As per your own words, by choosing to cover what they do, TAS is inviting people, potentially LOTS of people, to ignore them. Part of how I earn my living is via analysis of market segmentation and brand perception....

Must say I'm surprised that that no one has mentioned anything involving "Robert Harley."His year-end "recommended components" blogs/articles take pretension to another level. For example, I once read a review where he recommended a $14K Power Cab...

Dan D 'Agostino, Mark Levinson, Jim Thiel,
I would call-out Harbeth as an exception. Alan Shaw didn't start the company, but bought out Dudley Harwood. Shaw has since been very successful at continuing Harwood's legacy.

Which model Tannoy for my audio room
No joke, I've seen Westminster Royals in a room that was 16 X 12. They were against the 16' wall and sounded very impressive, as they should. :-)Pair the Westminsters with a Wilson Thor's Hammer and feel the noiz...
Is ARC Updating/Discontinuing the DSi200?
Hi Cerrot,Sounds like you've had limited experience owning property or working with or within an HOA. As I'm an OWNER and not a tenant, I'm not subject to immediate eviction by notice. And, while your comment was more than a bit snarky, it was sim...
