AES to s/pdif converter
Yes, I wanted to get all the 24/192 selections from Qobuz, but it looks like time to upgrade the streamer. Thanks for the input.
Starting Over and I need your help
Stream Qobuz instead of Apple.  Costs about $100 yearly.  You will thank me later.
AES to s/pdif converter
I guess my online search messed up.  Still wondering if this will add distortion into the cable.
Do you belong more to souce first or to speakers first school of thought ?
@hilde45 and others.  I appreciate your humor.  Let's not be REAL serious about this.  Most us us have a decent to awesome rig.  For those in that category, it is upgrading the weakest piece.
Magnepan 3.7i amp pairing
The Hegel 250w  rms seems to be a good match for me.  Never runs out of power due to a high damping factor.  Paired with a Velodyne 12"  sealed box sub.  You do need a sub for blues, reggae etc.
Great Interview-
I've been to a few Bonamassa concerts in the 2000's.  What a performer!  Had a rack of guitars like i've never seen.  But his sound techs left a lot on the  table.  And he used only a small portion of the guitars.  Heard better sound in some of th...
MQA....again.
I want my rig to sound true to the music and MQA is not that.
Integrated tube amp as amp only
Sounds like a good experiment.  Have fun,  this is what it's all about.
Best Audiophile/Music T-Shirts
I am not yet capable of uploading pictures, but I have a T-shirt with what stated with Da'Vinci's drawing of Man  and changed slightly to him windmilling a guitar like Pete Townshend.  Funny.
What does the gold star mean on this listing for the LSA amp?
I can vouch for Wally.  Straight shooter.  He does get some incredible deals.
Recommendations for really well-recorded music for high-end audio system demo
Your list should be full now.  All good.  I will suggest Earl Klugh and Bob James  "Cool".
Food: what does the typical audiophile eat?
Sounds like a crock. Check your last blood test to see if you are low on something.  Or high, haha.
So, a reviewer just said something I need to talk about.
Wow, this a true thinkpiece.  Of course the musicianship is important, along with the musician's emotion traveling through the instrument, recorded excellently with precision gear and reproduced by your Hi-Fi.  Everything is important.
Selling, donating or giving away a good pair of vintage speakers
If you can afford Magico's, you should give them away.  Most of my friends don't have anything that good and would love them.  One uses a Bose TV soundbar, etc.
Quandary
Remember this guy is a salesman.  He gets paid for selling things.  Take that $300 and go to an audio show, get a nice hotel room and go out for a nice dinner.  That's something you won't regret.
