Quick question for the Cables Don't Make a Difference Crowd.
The cable unbelievers either don't have audiophile ears or an unresolving system where wires are just wires.  My 1975 Kenwood receiver sounded great with anything!  Until my upgrade journey began....You know how it goes.  Cable quality should be s...
Stack Audio Products Review
I use a long run of ethernet cable to my streamer, about 70 feet, no switch, so I suspected it wasn't too clean.  So I tried the Smoothlan.  It worked for me, but some of you have  cleaner stream than me and might not have the same results.

Zione, I know I am in a learning curve on the Innuos Sense app.  After communication with the support group at Innuos, things are improving.  Sound quality is now as good or better than ever.  I had to change some settings and tomorrow we are upda...
Questions re. use of an Innuos unit with a Tambaqui
I know that Innuos is highly regarded.  So I thought I would upgrade to the Innuos Pulse 2 days ago.   Usually with any new app it takes awhile to learn how to use it properly, but the Sense app is driving me crazy.  I suppose I will go around in ...
Cartridge upgrade
I have always been a "more for your money" type of buyer.  Audio Technica has a great lineup of cart's at a wide variety of price ranges. I would look at the VM line and you can choose different stylus types.  Go for the microline or shibata.  Bar...

Glad to have you back!  I guess most men of a certain age have one sort of health problem or another.  Or more than one.  Think of those early days before FM radio and you liked to ride in the car and listen to AM.  I myself loved it.  Beatles, St...

VPI Industries---Love the Company as Much as their Turntables
I started out with a VPI Scout and I gotta say,  VPI's are not a beginners 'table.  Maybe some don't mind the fussiness, but I did.  Other than that, they are rock solid.

UPGRADE PATH FROM CHORD QUTEST
I have had more than one rock CD's that I always thought sounded dark and unlively. The 1st one that comes to mind is Living in the past by Tull.  When I subscribed to Qobuz,  I was thinking it would sound better streaming it.  Wrong.  It sounds t...
Intermittent Left Channel Outage-- Older McIntosh System--Love my system appreciate Help!
If it is 45 years old, you're gonna need to get it serviced if you haven't already.  Control knobs cleaned, maybe new caps, etc.
amazing transformation...how?
My VPI Scout was real particular about the cart.  I never fell in love with it because it was soooo fussy.  Even the record clamp seemed to suck the life out of the music.  And I never found a cart that  I loved with it. So it's gone, life is too ...
Have you noticed as your system improves?
Go Tigers!   Yes, can't do Hard rock concerts either.  Actually causes pain.  Try some good planar speakers.
Humour
Two antennas met up on the roof, fell in love and got married.  The wedding wasn't much, but the reception was terrific!
