| Help needed with new integrated amp. I think that is what you get from the smaller Maggies. Any Maggie 1.7 or larger have true ribbon tweeters that are hard to beat . Which will improve midrange as well by freeing up the rest of the panel. | |
| Time For a CD Player Upgrade I had the Hegel Mohican and I would guess the Viking has the Hegel house sound as well. It is quite articulate with CD's less than 25 yrs old. It will not sugarcoat your older ones, they will sound the same. | |

| Is Recording quality the real culprit? I believe you have to consider the mixing and mastering as well as the recording. I have some originals on vinyl and CD that do not sound nearly as good as the remastered version streamed on Qobuz. | |

| The Rapid Rise (& Fall) of the CD Records and CDs and streaming, it's all great. I did throw out my 8-tracks and cassettes many years ago. But I see my local record store is selling them along with 45 singles. Shows that some will see it as nostalgic, regardless of SQ. |
