recommended speaker cables and interconnects
I have some Analysis Plus cables and I am a big fan.  One thing about them is they took almost forever to break in and they sounded horrible for the entire break in time. 200 hours easily. Then one day BOOM.  They arrived.
First CD player help!
OK, most CD's made before year 2000 sound crappy on most players of any price.  Most Musical Fidelity players will add some life into them,  I am unsure if they try to expand the frequency response or something else, but it does help the old CDs. ...
The sound quality from DACs - is it all the same?
If someone says they cannot tell the difference in DACs, their system is probably not very revealing.  In digital EVERYTHING matters!  Interconnect included.
I wonder what you would think if we scheduled a monthly Zoom Meeting?
Maybe there are some female audiophiles who could sit around in their...nevermind.
Speaker Recommendation Help Please.
There are only a few speakers that will sound good close to the wall.  Do some research for those.  Otherwise, try moving your listening position [and speakers] away from the wall a little at a time.  It does seem that your room is the big problem.
if someone can help me......
I bought new balanced interconnects once and they took almost forever to break in.  I was ready to sell new electronics because I could not believe it was more break-in time they needed.  Then one day it happened.  The heavens opened up and shower...
D/A converter built into amp.
Well, it is very close, but not exactly the same.  They tell me that the Mohican's D/A converter is optimized for 16/44 Redbook CD's and the H360's DAC is not.  I am thinking that is the difference.

Thanks, Twoleftears in a huge way.  The SPDIF Coax sounds waaay better than the optical connect.  You never know, you know?

I have the Bel Canto one streamer which does not have USB input except for files.   It is Ethernet connected. The optical cable goes from the streamer to the amp. The streamer cost $1700 so I would consider anything under $3000 as appropriate.
Best double live vinyl?
Hey officerat, I love the Allmans as well.  Actually, I saw Littlefeat open for the Allmans once upon a time.  Nissan pavilion outside of Manassas, Va. 2008 or thereabouts.  Everyone has their favorites, so no reason to go to war.
Best double live vinyl?
If Little feat IS touring, it could never be the same without George, Barrere and Hayward.  Check Littlefeat.net for sure.  By the way, ALL my records from the sixties were ruined by my  Dad's record changer [Zenith].
Best double live vinyl?
Little feat all the way!  You probably are unaware that Paul Barrere and Richie Hayward have both passed on, so do not expect a tour anymore.  Too bad, I have seen them live at least five times and will miss them.

Looking for Blues with High Fidelity
I like Keb Mo's first album for acoustic guitar.  Also play Tommy Castro's Painkiller or  The devil you know.
Need help choosing a new DAC
Something to be said about budgets.  Forget about them!  Buy something that makes you feel like you got a big improvement or you will be upgrading again way too soon.  Do you want your kids to get all that money that you saved?  Spend some and enj...
