Schumann Resonator
I'm still lost. No one has provided any explanation. Just MC being a dickhead and mahgister talking nonsense. I guess this thread and this resonator are not for someone who would ever question things.
Schumann Resonator
So no one can tell me what they're supposed to do? I honestly have no idea. All I get is some snarky comment from MC about how dare I ask how they work? I don't even know what they do let alone how they do it.

What are these supposed to do and how do they do it? I read the description on Amazon and still can't figure it out. Does it emit "waves" from a built-in speaker or something else? I see one review of someone that wanted to keep it under their pil...
Paying with a cashiers check? Need advice!
Ask Audiogon about the older feedback. I've done that before and got a response from them saying it all looks ok and nothing appears to have changed like email addresses or out of character activity. Audiogon has no interest in having scammers on ...
My review of recent "Obscure Albums" post so far. Part 1
Thanks for the quick reviews, dadork. I thought about doing the same. I just listened to Crawler Live at My Father's Place and really like it.  In fact, I just listened to the whole album minus the studio tracks at the end.  Eric Quincy Tate was a...
Power Amp suggestion
Someone on here recently (maybe @erik_squires?) said try and listen to 3 amps...Ayre, Luxman and Pass.  They are different presentations. I wouldn't say to choose one of those but you will probably like one more than the other two. That gives you ...
What 50wpc or higher amps have a totally different sound from Pass Labs, in a good way?
Would love to hear CJ Art line, Ayre, Atmasphere. Clearly high end, unique designs.@redwoodaudio These would be in my top 5 to try also. Atmasphere, Ayre, Pass, Luxman and CJ...all great choices and established, well-liked companies with well-buil...
What 50wpc or higher amps have a totally different sound from Pass Labs, in a good way?
At the moment Ayre has no lower priced (under $10k) amps or preamps, just an integrated. The EX-8 is an all-in-one if you get every option (they’re boards that can be added or apparently upgraded in the future) for about $8k. I think that’s a barg...
What 50wpc or higher amps have a totally different sound from Pass Labs, in a good way?
I will add that I think an Ayre preamp with a Pass amp may be close to a perfect combination. Just a hunch as I've never heard it.
What 50wpc or higher amps have a totally different sound from Pass Labs, in a good way?
@erik_squires and a couple others on here have said Ayre and Luxman. I agree 100%. I just had a Pass X150.8 in my system to try. It's very, very different than the Ayre V-5xe I have. I know the Ayre isn't new by any means but I've had newer Ayre h...
Entry Level Tube Preamp or Higher Quality Used Model?
I would look for a used MP-3 and see if you can push the budget a little more. the Pre-amp is the heart of the audio system. Not that the OP said this is a requirement but isn't this one of the few preamps currently made without a remote? That coul...
Primaluna EVO 300/400 Preamplifier owners - let's hear from you
With all the great American, Canadian and European made products why would you choose to support China?Maybe because Chinese people are also humans trying to make a living and just because someone is American, Canadian or European it does not make...
spend on the streamer or on the DAC ?
@deep_333   Thanks for your response. I bought one of those for my son a couple years ago and tried to use it including the DAC and it was horrible.  I forgot I can use it as just a streamer out to an external DAC.  I'll have to give that a try. I...
sharp and piercing high pitch /frequency coming out from Harbeth C7
I just had similar and, after trying a different amp, the high pitch ringing went away. I just sent the amp back to the manufacturer to check for problems.
Ever Hear a Tube CD player?
Jolida, before it was Black Ice Audio, made a great sounding tube CD player. It took a pair of 12AX7's and rolling tubes really changed the sound to what you liked. If I'm not mistaken, the Ah! Njoe Tjoeb mentioned above was designed by the people ...
