Fleetwood Sound Company @riaa_award_collectors_on_facebook Would love to see a pic of the Ford Mustang Blue Devilles!
Digital All in ones, i.e. Naim Uniti Nova I own a Naim Uniti Atom, which I love. I owned a NAD M33, which I did not care for. Replaced it with a Gold Note IS-1000 which is much better (if you like tone and texture). Those are my current "one-box" solutions in the house.
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS @verdantaudio For whatever reason, I couldn't get my network to see the M3. I rebooted the router and switches three times, restarted the Innuos and tried connecting via the Innuos ethernet direct connection as well as other places on the network...
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS Thanks! No Mac minis but some other Macs in the house. I've rebooted once but will shut down the macs and try again.
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS It's not showing up on Roon to enable at all. If I use the USB input, it's there, not when I switch to the ethernet port. A little baffling.
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS For anyone with experience with the Bricasti stuff. I've got a local owner who is letting me demo his M3. When I use the USB input from my Innuous Zennith MkIII, no problem. When I try to use the ethernet port (which is lit up and connected), R...
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS @verdantaudio Thanks! I do have an Innuos Zenith MkIII in the house so I have the server end covered if I need that for whatever goes into this system.
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS @phastm3 "that sounds a lot like Dr.Vinyl’s old system…he had that same setup last year" He still sells the Backert Labs and McGary, and yes most of it came from him.
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS @verdantaudio If I'm looking at a streaming solution under $4K, what are the differences between the Bricasti M5 and the Antipodes S30? Pluses and minuses with either?
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS Appreciate all of the responses and opinions. I agree that the DAC choice will have a big impact on the final choice of streamer, and also know that not too many folks actually build their own streamers. Some things I have personally had in my s...
For those that have separate Streamers & DACS Thanks. My only hesitation on the Aurender is its lack of compatibility with Roon, but I hear nothing but good things about them.
My thoughts on the HiFi Rose 150B I demoed the 150 for about a week a couple of months back. I think that some of the assertions that the sound quality is on a par with cheaper options (that don't have all the bells and whistles) is just not true. I thought the 150 sounded a lot...
The sound quality from DACs - is it all the same? Some of you clearly need to head over to ASR and ruminate there. Then maybe this tedious troll of thread would die the quick death it should have.
HiFi Rose RS250 "Wow I am sure glad I went with the Bel Canto e.stream. Not a single issue and a US Company. No fancy color screen just fantastic sound!' Except that the RS150b kind of blows the Bel Canto out of the water from a sonic perspective--and is muc...
Wanting to upgrade my streaming sound quality. Just saw this thread and glad you are enjoying the rs150b. I borrowed one from my dealer for the week and think it's really, really good. My standard combo is an Innuos Zenith MkIII going into a Border Patrol DAC, which is a great match for my V... |
