Kimber 4tc good enough? The Canare may be very good, just as the Honda Civic is very good.
6922 tube EH although is a bit extended on the top end, but sounds a bit flat on the midrange. I like the Bugle Boys which have a palpable midrange, but also very balance from top to bottom.
No Improvement With Transparent Reference RCA Interconnects For Naim NDX 2 Streamer I'm happy with the sound of my system now. With some music, it could use more power. But I'll take the bait...would you please elaborate the facts on which you base the opinion that the 7Ts are a "bottleneck" in my system. I don't know what that...
No Improvement With Transparent Reference RCA Interconnects For Naim NDX 2 Streamer The bottleneck in your system probably is the Aerial Acoustics Model 7T.
... abit confused: how does a power cord affect the presentation of sound... Like I said before, nobody has able to devise a test to measure if a certain component is musical or analytical, or how large the soundstage or how deep ... and so on, so at the end of the day, you just have to listen. For those who demand "measure...
... abit confused: how does a power cord affect the presentation of sound... Noise floor is meaningless without knowing the distortion spectrum.
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? ^^^What kind of a system you have that you can't tell the difference?By the way, most speaker cables freq. response tends to taper off starting around 20KHz, not 30MHz.
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? If a person does not believe in cable capacitance and inductance will affect the sound, there is not much one can do to change that person mind.
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? As the amount of current the cables carry increase, the geometry matters less and less. I think it's the opposite. That is the higher the current, the more geometry matters.
... abit confused: how does a power cord affect the presentation of sound... Andy21 it is you that is trolling!, there is nothing in my original post that suggest that I've deliberately provoked anyone but you have in your last post. Get a life!! Lols, I was referring to djones guy trolling and not you.
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? ^^^ I am glad you were able to get a huge improvement over the Blue Jeans. I used to have Blue Jeans speaker cables and interconnects but it was easily bested by a set of QED cables that didn't cost that much more than Blue Jeans.
... abit confused: how does a power cord affect the presentation of sound... djones51, please reread my post, I never said that power cords and the impact they have on our systems can not be measured. Rather I'm not concerned with measurements, only with the way they sound in my system. To phd,Ignore him. He's just t...
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? ^^^ I agree. As I said before that the cable budget should be proportional to the overall system cost. If you only have a low end system, then Belden cables or even some zip cords should be OK. But if your system costs north of 20K or so, then ...
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? Twisted wire will help guard against interference. I've never tried these but they look pretty well made and offer to measure the LCR for you at a reasonable price. https://sites.google.com/view/pine-tree-audio/speaker/speaker-cables/visceral C...
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? Twisted cables tend to have higher capacitance but lower inductance on average. It's a trade off so there is no perfect solution. |
