The review wehave been promising is up
My two cents... Usually when a salesman tries a pitch it irritates me. Even if he educates about a product or service it still irritates me. When the salesman continues and continues to try to sell his product X and (as others have indicated) tha...
How much faster of a sub is the REL T5X vs SVS SB12-NSD
Glad you found a good sub that works. The Descent looks like a killer sub.

Speaker design and opinions about speakers (sound quality) vary greatly. To say the least. What you like or don't like about the used 2CE may be that you don't care for the sound, you didn't have them set up properly, they were damaged , they didn...
Changes to older system
I replaced a sold state preamp with a tube preamp and it really made a huge difference (Parasound P3 to Schiit Audio Freya Plus) The bass and soundstage opened up and the sound is more organic. Whatever tube amp you decide upon (if you do) make su...
Old CDs and records
In 1987 I bought my first CD player and CD's in Germany. In 1990 I sold my Thorens TD320 turntable and got rid of about 90 albums. I thought record albums were DONE. Do I wish I had the Thorens and albums back? yep.
Best color s to paint dedicated listening room
Light brown corkboard on one wall and wood paneling (vertical) on three walls. The paneling is uneven and helps with sound absorbtion and reflections. It all was like this when I moved in. I also have vertical windows that tilt out. Very good ligh...
How much faster of a sub is the REL T5X vs SVS SB12-NSD
https://youtu.be/W5NNjEwF8Co Look at servo subwoofer technology. Rythmik offers it but other brands may also. It's the fastest for stereo integration that I know about, but I am no expert.
Does a REL subwoofer make the speakers' job easier?
I was looking at both REL and JL Audio but ended up with Rythmik. I liked the fast servo sub and connect low level from my amp to the sub. My Parasound A21 has an RCA connection for both Left and Right channel and variable gain adjustment and conn...
Homage to those who are pleased with your audio rig
2channel8 Haha great point. I have hearing loss from my time in US Army Air Defense artillery and Field artillery units. I now have hearing aids and they are a big help with my audio listening. I would highly recommend to anyone with hearing loss...
first US review 432 evo music server
I will stay with a Bluesound and external DAC. I never liked products/brands/salesmen pushing something down my throat....
Is this a scam?
Actually if one were to think on this idea of a scam or being ripped off or being susceptible to propaganda or psychological operations campaign(s) directed at a target audience we have to accept we all are fooled to different degrees. It is up to...
Is this a scam?
It's got more red flags than a Soviet Parade! Haha and yes I agree. And don't be one of those guys.- "A fool and his money soon part".
Move from Parasound A23 to A21/A21+ or Something Else?
Good choice. I would very surprised if you are not enamored with that product.
Up to $4000US tower speakers for Jazz and Classical Music
Off axis midrange and hi-freq is better in the later models than the early ones. Eric has addressed this weakness in the design. I find the speakers to be forward sounding in soundstage not recessed. Vocals and other instruments are right here, no...
