Sorry for the secrecy folks, but I don't want to go into a lot of detail here for MANY reasons. Drop me an email if you are truly interested. To keep it brief, let's just say that Lorne's wishes aren't that far off. Only difference is that it will NOT have the build quality of the SCD-1 (or anywhere near the price) but should be capable of even better sonics. While i can understand Sluggo's take on the situation, look at it this way: If your "way of life" depended on modifying the latest products on the market, wouldn't you seek out a good source so as to stay on top of the situation in your particular field ??? Maybe even look for "inside information" to try and stay one step ahead of the competition ??? I'm sure that EVERYONE has "contacts" in different areas of expertise, so why should the audio field be any different ? It's not.

As to contacting Ric, he will post info on his website. He is extremely busy trying to keep up with his workload and is NOT timely in response to emails.
