HiDiamond Power cords...

Has anyone tried the Power 3,2,1 power cords from HiDiamond. If so can you explain in best detail the qualities, strengths and which component you chose it on. I'm also curious which cords they compare to within the market.

Hi Skywalker,
Unfortunately, I'm not in SG. I'm indeed interested in Devialet though. :) With Devialet, I can convert all my various HD cables to one P4 PC and one pair of D8 speaker cables. :D

I think you're in luck with what you are (or your wife is) looking for. One thing I remember noticing with P3 break-in is midrange clarity. It doesn't necessarily get prominent per se, but with lower noise floor and smoother/more coherent presentation, midrange appears to be prominent. :) I too am breaking in my 5th P3 on the Pass amp (currently at 120 hours).

BTW, do share your impression on Devialet, PM or in this thread (hope others don't mind).
@kzhtoo: ah I believe u r on one of the local focal forums. Anyway, yes the real draw of the devialet was being able to do away with multiple cables and just have 1 power cable and speaker cable :)

As to the sound, with the release of the latest firmware on the Devialet, music just sounds so natural and its an absolute joy listening to any genre. I'm using jriver on a windows laptop to upsample cd quality to 24/96 and stream wirelessly to the Devialet. With the HD P3 in, this is the best I've heard my speakers. For the first time, I love everything about the sound and there is little or no aspect I want to be changed. Highs, mids n bass are all there, like the way it was recorded and meant to be heard. The HD-Devialet-Focal is a killer combo in my humble opinion :)
Ozzy, are you saying that the P4 power cable is not as dynamic as the P3 power cable? Thanks in advanced.
Yo2tup. No, the P4 adds to the already dynamic P3 presentation with calmness that is ever so pleasurable.
Even though I own all HiDiamond interconnects and power cords, I have maintained my DIY speaker cables that are made out of pure 9999 silver 14 & 18 gauge soft annealed wire.

I would be very interested in opinions of the D8 speaker cables from those of you who have them.
For biwire, do you have 2 separate runs or are you using jumpers?
