Any thoughts on Salamander Synergy cabinets?

Hi:
I need an audio cabinet and and am thinking of Salamander Synergy 323 which suits my size and other requirements perfectly.  I plan to use Townshend platforms  on the Salamander shelves for each component that goes inside or on top of the cabinet.  I'd appreciate any thoughts or experiences you might have had with Salamander or specifically on the combination of Townshend platforms used in/on Salamander cabinets.  I am committed to Townshend as I find their approach to component and speaker isolation first class.

Thanks for any thoughts.  Any ideas about alternatives would also be helpful.

If the size fits I think they are fine.  Keep the back open. I have had both a one unit upright rack and a three unit lower rack for in front of a TV. (Salamander).

I think a nicer rack is Timbernation.  This guy is a gem and will build any size and any wood combination.  Cost is a bit more but a much more lifetime rack.  Take a look at his site and call him and tell him exactly what you want.

Thank you that's good to know.  I will browse there.  This may be the way to go.

Thanks

I agree. Chris at Timbernation is great to deal with and for the same money or a little more you will get beautiful solid hardwoods. He will make it to your specs and give you a price upfront.
