Marantz CD-67 SE - Worth Fixing?

My CD player is on the fritz, a Marantz CD-67 SE, Ken Ishiwata special. It was SOTA 20 years ago.

These days I listen mostly to vinyl and streaming, so it isn't a total disaster, but still. The thing went through a few days of occasional cheeping and burping and now it just flashes "disc" and won't read the TOC. Laser alignment? Motor? I dunno.

So - is it worth fixing? Or buy a new one, maybe an Oppo?

I'm assuming that NLA is "no longer available"? I'm going to take it to Music Technology, but those guys are expensive! I don't really trust anybody else though. $75 for an estimate, and maybe $300 to fix. I think that's the max I'm willing to put into it.

And I was saving for a new cartridge...
