Yes, the AC-9s are recommended for amplifiers. However a 2M length of AC-9 would weigh about as as much as the 3020D. I think the weight and stiffness would be difficult to manage in this case.
@mesch you are right the D3020 is very light so a heavy cord won't work
@mesch@elizabeth the PC connector is a ICE C5 so I would need an adapter adding another $25 to the cost. I think I will pass on the PC upgrade, especially not knowing if there would be any benefit.
Sorry I forgot the power connector was C5. I had the 3020D in my possession for about a month when it first came out. Should have remembered. I believe Pangea only terminates with C7 and C13 types. NAD does ship there budget amps with some pretty low grade cords, 18ga I have seen.
