BOW ZZ8 upgrade or not?

Hello, I own an early BOW ZZ8, and was wondering about your experiences with the 24/192 update?

How does it compare against serious dcs gear, which could be an alternative to upgrade, like the integrated p8i?

That is what I think is best, while still staying reasonable in terms of price compared to the Zanden, Reimyo, Lindemann and other very high end and high price
