Worst Album Covers by your fav albums

I don’t know what the music is like, but have you seen the LP cover of the 1972 debut album by Mom’s Apple Pie? It slipped by the censors, but was banned soon after release. A Google Images search will reveal why! I'm guessing a young Larry Flynt saw it ;-) .

Baby James Harvest, by Barclay James Harvest - one of their very finest from their prog era but that baby in a flower pot is weird actually scary.

Uriah Heep´s debut the US edition, that outer space worm monster is horrible not even well drawn, stupid really ugly grey cover is the opposite to the music it hides. No wonder it failed to hit the market.
The UK original is a classic. Gothic masterpiece and fits perfectly to the very heavy sound, tunes like "Dreammare" and "Walking in Your Shadow". You´d instantly realize this is not pop music. This awesome cover hides great David Byron behind cobweb and actually tells his premature death. Truly fearsome yet fantastic in a good way, artistically. Brilliant cover. Their second best after "Look at Yourself", which literally is exactly what the listener is doing, the best ever album cover initially designed by Mick Box : )

I don't know about worst, but just yesterday I pulled out Traffic's: "The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys", and thought to my self that the cover didn't appear to portray the feelings I get when listening to the music.

if bad cover for my favorite album then it is Meddle by PF. I wish I'd never learned that it depicts human ear, underwater, with ripples symbolizing soundwaves. 
on the bright side, as with Salisbury, this shows that one can get used to anything as long as the music is great

Neither one however is on my favorite list.
