Who has more Rock, Tidal or Qobuz?

i have been streaming Deezer for a few years. But I have been looking at a new streamer and very few support Deezer. But they all seem to support Tidal & Qobuz. So I guess it is time to make a switch, and since my musical preference is Rock, I figured, who better to ask.

Thank you in advance.

When I purchased my streaming components I subscribed to both Tidal and Qobuz and let them shoot it out on my behalf during their free trial periods.. And indeed, I found Tidal to be better with Rock than Qobuz. Even Tidal's incisive bassy-trebly EQ seemed to be more suited to Rock than Qobuz' more rounded, midrangey tone. In the end, though, I chose Qobuz, simply because I enjoy nearly every genre, not just rock and pop, and Tidal didn't provide much more than rock and pop. It was actually kind of comical when, as my free trial period with Tidal was about to end, I let them know I didn't want them anymore. I think it took about ten seconds for them to cut me off..In any case, if Rock is the genre that pushes your buttons, Tidal is probably the place.

Amazon HD has a much better selection than both combined.  The sound is really close and for rock pretty much imperceptible.

Amazon don't cooperate with REAL streamers. Any streamer that allows you to install an op sys can do Deezer through LMS.

I’m in the middle of this process now and have been experimenting with Tidal and Qobuz.

Tidal is much less hassle free and I don’t need Hi-Rez because I’ve got all of that on DSD already and I ain’t buying more.

Tidal’s family option is good value considering I’ve got to pay for all my devices with Qobuz.

For CD regular quality Tidal has it. I only listen to rock, not metal.

I have tried Amazon, but really didn't care for their setup on finding titles and setting up playlists. But they were just out of the box and have maybe made improvements.

fuzztone, forgive my ignorance but what is LMS? And how do I determine if a streamer has this option?

Thank you

Theo

Just curious if Tidal is available on android phones without additional fee. I do use Deezer quite a bit in the car, and hate to lose that option.
