Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

New Order Power Lies Coruption, cryo’d at lab, Savoy Brown A Step Further
CAB2 - Chambers, MacAlpine, Brunel w/guest Brian Auger

Track 5, South Side, is blowing my mind.
There is a ferocious 8 second guitar run at 3:16.  Just amazing.  (Don't know why Tony MacAlpine doesn't get more raves).  As a bonus, Brian Auger delivers excellent Hammond work throughout the album.  The man can fly.

I am just as shocked especially with it also being a live album which for rock usually means it sucks big time anyway!
Some of the nuances I can here in his voice I have not noticed previously and the drums are miked really well.
I am pleased as I paid $10 for that one!
uber, I didn't think Geffen was capable of even a good recording, let alone outstanding.  Good to know, as I really like Gabriel

Modern Studies / Welcome Strangers
Led Zeppelin dazed & confused, kashmir, stairway to heaven. Then anything by sting.
