Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

Václav Neumann conducts Martinů - Symphony No. 2 / Fantaisies Symphoniques (Symphony No. 6). The Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Supraphon 1991 Czechoslovakia
BTW, I've added compressed (can) air into my vinyl regimen. It requires a small learning curve but is very effective. You'll notice this if you have a great LED light focused on your tt.

Interesting Steve.

I saw an interesting idea here, which seems to catching some traction: purchased an inexpensive rechargeable gel lighter. It gives out ions, similar to the Zerostat. You ‘light’ it just about 1/4-1/2” above the album while rotating, 3-4 passes, and it removes static.

Seems to work. And much easier and quicker than the Zerostat.

Playing with it, but as I said, does seem to be effective.
I saw that comment on the gel lighter on a thread here on Agon.  Very interesting.  Please do provide some further report on your findings after additional use.  Thanks Brian.

All the talk about Harrison ATMP, I pulled out my original box set which I purchased around 1973, possibly earlier.  It's in perfect condition.  I haven't played it in decades.  A run through the US machine first and I'll play it sometime soon.  I just love the ideas I get from this thread!

Yea, I was intrigued, so for the $, tried it out. Amazon delivered in two days (don’t have Prime).

When are you leaving on your fishing trip Joel?

@bkeske

I leave on Monday afternoon, heading to san Diego (a two hour drive).   The boat departs in the evening and we return on Thursday morning.
I sure hope to get my limits on Bluefin tuna.  And of course, the others as well; yellowfin tuna, yellowtail, and dorado are the other target pelagic species.🤞
Just arrived!  Jeff Beck "Truth" MoFi 45rpm 2-disc issue, limited qty.  I was lucky to get one.  In the US machine they go and I'll be spinning them later tonight.  This album was a great part of life in my teen years, on 8-track tape.  I bought a respectable vinyl copy, new, after getting my first hi-fi system.  It's good, but I anticipate this one to be great.
In a Williams mood today….

ha! 😁

The Browns are quite important to me, yes. Been watching since a little kid watching the great Jim Brown run up and down the field.
