Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
James, I believe Jellybread made only two albums. Ran across this one last year and snagged it.
Eric Clapton  'Unplugged'   You guys got me going on that one the other day.  I only have it on CD so had to get it on vinyl.  Excellent live recording.  Wonderful music, I have always love that album.

Moody Blues   'In Search of the Lost Chord'   My, how the Degritter makes that better than ever.  Ultra Sonic cleaning is bad-ass.
The Decemberists "I’ll Be Your Girl"

Very nice, as my system has improved, so has this album's ability to provide enjoyment.
@mammothguy54  - Agreed. The 3 LP Deluxe Half Speed Master Edition of "Live at Leeds" is fantastic. Finishing it up, side 6, this evening. Great stuff.....
Boxer12... well, from my perspective a boat is just a tool for killing fish, so $$$$$$$$.

JJ Cale - Stay Around
Laura Veirs "My Echo"
Her latest, been on order for ever......

This is a wonderful lp. The closest she's come to "Warf & Weft".
FWIW,

My sister and I feel my Mom is not long for this world. I 've been staying all night through the week, sis on weekends.

This is life.
Steve, I feel for you.  I went through that with my mother and it is a very difficult part of life.  It is life, though, and much better to lose a parent than the other way around.  Remember all of the wonderful times, they will always be with you.
I have only been salmon fishing once, in Alaska. Got a 30 lb Chinook.

I typically go tuna and yellowtail fishing.  My personal best is a 150 lb bluefin tuna, 3 years ago.  That fish kicked my butt, but I did win; freezer stuffed!  I am now fully vaccinated.  Looking forward to pulling up from the ocean some nice tuna, yellowtail, and dorado this Summer.

Albert King   'Blues For Elvis'
that’s fantastic Joel. i need a hot date w Bluefin.

@slaw i feel for you, lost both my parents in a horrible 6 week period in 2001... not sure i ever exited the cycle of grief. Enjoy every moment you get. So sorry. Reach out if i can do anything...

jim
Patty Griffin - River

she seems to understand both grief and faith on a very deep level....
Gregg Allman "Southern Blood"

This is the last album Gregg made knowing he was dying.
Such a lovely record.
I only hope, I pass in a similar way.
......."I got so much more to give
I’m runnin’ out of time my friend"....
@slaw I understand Brother and feel for you.  My father seems very frail and may pass any time now.
Gerald Finzi
A Severn Rhapsody - Introit - New Year Music - Prelude - Soliloquies - Romance - The Fall Of The Leaf
Boult
London Philharmonic Orchestra
Lyrita 1978

I'm going to bed now, with a few tears.  Damn!
Take care you guys...

I have so many memories, too.
Music can be a good cure for the soul.  To be continued, tomorrow night.

I love reading all of these!  Great inspiration.  I've really been into my Procol Harum - particularly enjoying Repent Walpurgis - a great Friday night tune.
The Modern Jazz Quartet - Three Windows, (with the New York Chamber Symphony). Atlantic Jazz 1987
@boxer12 turned me on to this IIRC.

Modern Jazz Quartet - The Modern Jazz Quartet & Orchestra. Atlantic reissue, unknown release, but per label, I’ll guess the late 60’s.
up now............

Neil Young & Crazy Horse "Way Down in the Rust Bucket" 4lp/box
Mahavishnu Orchestra - Between Nothingness & Eternity. Columbia 1973 Live

Man, I really like this album.
Amon Duul 2  - Live in London
Wishbone Ash - Live Dates
Yes - Tales from topographic ocean
Rory Gallagher - Calling Card
Rory Gallagher - Blue Print
Amon Duul 2 - The best of 1969 - 1974
@730waters,  Waters!  Welcome back man.  We’ve missed you.  I have so many records from the early hard rock era to discuss with you.
In what’s turning out to be a ‘fusion Saturday’ for me, next up...

Howard Wales & Jerry Garcia - Hooteroll?. Douglas 5 1971

Groovy
@anagreen, right on.  Welcome keep the posts coming.  Any fan of ph welcome around here.
Some thoughts on "Way Down in the Rust Bucket"

I own an OP of "Ragged Glory", haven’t listened in a while though.

This set f___in’ rocks!!! The vinyl is quiet. The performance is great. The SQ is wonderful.

There is no more than 3 songs on each side so as not to squeeze too much info in, to have inferior SQ.

Every song ends up in a (jam). Love it!!!

Oh yeah, mastered by Chris Bellman.

@slaw

Every song ends up in a (jam). Love it!!!

It’s awful hard to beat a Neil with Crazy Horse live jam.
