Family Band "Grace & Lies" Always loved this album.
Recommended!

@spiritofradio, @tomic601, @boxer12, @big_greg, @noromance, ......I think you all would really like this one
Just looked on Discogs for "Grace & Lies". Sealed copies available from the US, shipped for under $15. Amazon wants $40 shipped.

Sorry @bkeske, Brian I left you out.
You all need to search specifically for Family Band "Grace & Lies"

I'm actually searching for a cleaner copy.

Sub-Pop 1995/2018 RE

Way better than way back then on MP3...

You owe it to yourself to get the lyric sheet.
This typifies a particular guitar sound that was around in the mid-90s. Don’t know exactly how it was done (and I don’t hear it any more) but I really liked it then and still do.
This is a really good record. Guitars, spacey female sounding singer (like circa survive’s Anthony Green), lyrics, rockin. What more could a man/boy want.
Well, I was reintroduced to Vinyl Me Please by @waltersalas . Thanks!

They find great music, remaster, then send to trusted pressing plants.

Thinking hard about becoming a member.
@slaw  don’t know how the subject of the VMP label (re)arose but yeah, they are mostly very good but I’ve bought a few of their records that don’t sound very good.  You have to watch out.
Dave Alvin & The Guilty Women
Just did a loong/slooow US clean.
Love it!
For those you who have been on the fence regarding a US cleaner...... it’s a no-brainer. It will bring you closer to the artist/music.

I have almost a decade of experience with them. Started with the Audio Desk then moved down to a Chinese tank, then a DIY filtering system. Now very happy with my Vibrato w/ my filtering system.
BTW, for my friends here, I'm recommending that you rethink your prior purchase/customers to who've purchased just one MyMat..

Going to a two MyMat system will at least double the effect one MyMat did for you already.

Almost out of stock. PM me. The price has increased.

@cal3713
I think it is an Excellent Album "We Out Here" that 95% or more of us , have no idea about. I accidentally found it on Bandcamp. looking at something else..
I was listening to my JRiver media center last night and came across a Bunch of Albums from Ben Harper. "The Will To Live" stood out for me , so i decided to look for it on Vinyl.  haaaaaa. I love that record from him.
Don't even try , unless you are willing to pay over $100 for a NM copy.
Most are way over that.
Same thing  happened to me when I heard  another Excellent Album while listening to Pandora .It was Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood  from MSG  I was going to try to find it on Vinyl .HUH.

You see, I have only been back into this Vinyl for maybe 2 years or less.
But stuff like that is disappointing

All Is Well

Mostly traditional folk songs but not unlike Bonny Light Horsemen, they are totally reworked and with really cool instrumentation.
Pink Floyd "Meddle"
One of my two UK/Harvest versions.

I sold my MFSL copy years ago because one of these sounded better.
@slaw The amps sound great and if nothing else, the cables are really pretty. I had a Zu DL-103 that came with my SL-1200 and I mounted it on my Classic 2 yesterday. Sounded terrible, distortion in the left channel. It's heading off to Andy Kim to see if it can be salvaged. I mounted my Van Den Hul MC Two Special and that sounds great.
Jim, I'm not sure how significant it was, but I picked up a pair of Herron M1 monoblocks.
@big_greg,

I know you've not seemed to want to try a MyMat.....,but I think you'd be thankful if you did.

Low stock, would like friends to enjoy this before it's gone.

Steve
Slaw,
Thanks for the recommendation of "Grace & Lies". I'll check them out.

Big Greg,
If you want to try a couple 1 meter pairs of Noteworthy Acoustics RCA interconnects, let me know & I'd be glad to send them to you for evaluation.

Holger Czukay / Cinema
He was an excellent musician & in the band CAN. This is a 5 album box set that was released in 2017 or 18 I believe. Just picked it up today.
Greg I have his phono pre and it is very musical, tows the neutrality line tauntly. I have not heard his monoblocks, when are they possibly displacing? I plan to take Tim up on his evaluation offer at some point also ...
Jim, I've been running Rogue audio M180 monoblocks. The Herron M1s are pretty old, but they were upgraded to a FET front end a couple of years ago at the factory. I couldn't really find much information about them, but bought them primarily based on Keith's reputation and all the great things I've heard about the Herron phono stage. A little less power than the M180s (150 vs 180 watts), but they are super quiet, detailed, and dynamic, and run really cool, take up less space, and I will never have to buy 8 KT120s for them.
Tim, thank you for the offer, I appreciate it. I'm not really a "cable guy" and might not be the best person to evaluate your cables.
