Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Fran Healy "Wreckorder"

2010/Wreckord

Really underappreciated. Lead singer for Travis.

The Marshall Tucker Band "Dedicated"

1981/Warner Brothers

....use to play this quite a bit on my Nak TD-700

Beatrice Rana: Chopin - 12 Études, Op. 25

I listened to this many times and I've never heard Chopin played like she does. A fantastic mix of virtuosity and sensibility.

Malia: Black Orchid

Many great interpretations of some of Nina Simone best songs on this album, Four Women being the most powerful of them.

Xavier Cugat And His Orchestra-The Best Of Cugat(PPS 6015) Side 1 SQ*

Black Sabbath-Vol, 4(2016? repress) Side 2

Christopher Cross-ST Side 2 SQ Audiophile

The 4 Seasons-2nd Vault Of Golden Hits(PHS 600-221) Side 2

Hampton Hawes-Playin' In The Yard Side 2

Gary Burton/Chick Corea-Crystal Silence Side 2 SQ*

Lorraine Feather-Sweet Lorraine(CJ 78) Side 1 SQ Audiophile

A late phone call caused a pass on last scheduled LP. Tough call for the SQ crown but Ms. Feather takes it.

Thin Lizzy "Live and Dangerous"

@ Hammersmith 16 Nov 1976/RSD

not great SQ but if you’re a fan, indispensable.

one of their performances over 3 nights

a lesson in how band's performance' change over night.

Chris Rea "Road Songs for Lovers"

Electric Light Orchestra / A New World Record
2016 Epic 40th anniversary remaster,  orig. 1976

Listening to "Middle Cyclone" again and realizing how wrong I use to be in thinking it was a much better sounding recording. Love the record and the artist but I’d give it a solid 8 on SQ. I have a black vinyl pressing and the "clear" pressing I purchased off her website back in the day.
