Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Steve, I agree. "Nervous Night" is an excellent pop/rock record. Loving it, since 1985!

Hey Steve! I had the cd for years and finally bought the vinyl a couple of years ago. Still love it after all these years.

You all reminded me that I had them (Talking Heads) in my mind for this weekend.

Thanks, @mammothguy54  so far I am happy as a pig in poop

I need to get that pressing of Speaking in Tongues. I collected T-Heads stuff for a number of years and my 2 O/P of Speaking in Tongues are not great sounding pressings. I will look for that pressing.

Always bummed me how much they rolled off the low end on More Buildings and a number of their other albums.

@6t5-gto

That is a bad-a$$ turntable.  Enjoy it immensely, in good health.

Talking Heads  -  More Songs About Buildings and Food   An original copy, from 1978.  Really lacking in the low frequency range, but otherwise plenty of good imaging and staging.  Excellent music!

Talking Heads  -  Speaking In Tongues   Reissue from a few years ago, remastered at Sterling Sound and pressed in Germany.  Outstanding album and a superior mastering/pressing/vinyl grade.  Really great SQ!

Jeff Beck  -  Blow By Blow   AP/QRP 45rpm issue.  Jeff Beck at his very best.

Yep, Loved my C-sharp. Sold it to a great friend. This one is just that much better in a few areas. No regrets. It is gorgeous

Stevie Nicks - Bella Donna - RSD release

Modern Jazz Quartet w/New York Chamber Symphony - Three Windows. Atlantic Jazz 1987

Ok, so another EAT huh? That says you're impressed with your other one?

@slaw hey, sorry, lots going on at the house and keep getting pulled away.

I got a Forte S by European Audio Team (EAT) and put a Kiseki Purple Heart on it. It sounds phenomenal and still have break in to do on the cart

Hey Tim!

You back renewed with another group I never heard of. I expect nothing less.😉

Started off the evening with Bill Evans - Behind the Dikes from RSD - such an amazing recording/pressing it is one of my favorites

Count Basie  -  Basie Jam #3   I love this album!  Pablo Records did a great job.

Kenny Burrell with Coleman Hawkins  -  Bluesey Burrell   AP/QRP, Fantastic!

The Modern Jazz Quartet - Concorde. Prestige/Original Jazz Classics reissue 1982, originally 1955

Monty Alexander / Ray Brown / Herb Ellis - Triple Treat (the first of what was to become a series). Concord Jazz 1982.

Signed by Herb…
