I recently got this arm with Oracle permier but I don't know the name of Arm (I am analog novice)
Any body have manual for this arm? or how can I get the manual for the arm. Any comment will be appreciated.
Thank you

Pbb Wow - that's a vintage audiophile memory. If my fuzzy memory is correct, the ADC tonearm had a dome shaped counterweight, and did not have the little outrigger thingy that I notice in the photo. Also, it was not quite in the same big league as the Oracle turntable which would make it a peculiar match. If I were betting in Vegas, I might also go with an Oracle arm, but only because I dont recognize it and I otherwise know nothing about them. Yes, a gorgeous turntable, a real classic. |
Did you use image enhancement to read that? A little quick Googling for Pierre Lurne revealed that he designed the linear tracking arm for the Goldmund, and that this particular model is the Audioeca/Pierre Lurne Arm 2, illustrated and briefly described here: http://www.vinylengine.com/library_model.php?make=Audiomeca%20/%20Pierre%20Lurne&selected_model=Arm%202 There's some good news and bad news: You can download the tonearm manual from that website, but it's in French. |
Cwlondon, I am dating myself, no?. I had my doubts. The proper answer certainly appears to be that from Jb53. Softmachine, if you have problems with the French, let me know and I will interpret those portions that give you trouble. It would appear that you can garner a lot of useful info solely from the schematics provided in the instructions. |
