What if Jeff Beck was a drummer?

@tablejockey, he probably would have been an incredible drummer but I am glad he stuck to the guitar. Enjoy the music

He would have been Billy Cobham or possibly Tony Williams.

Or Steve Gadd or Vinnie Colaiuta.

If he was Vinnie, he would be playing drums and guitar on his albums and in concert.

So Beck idly plays a drum beat when no one’s around and Stevie walks in and creates “Superstition.”

Most musicians can actually play several instruments at a fairly high level.  If you spend your life making music then you can play the drums.  Same for piano or guitar and who doesn't think they can play the bass.  It's just that there are other musicians who can do it better than you.  They're professionals.
